GOAST target system

This innovative target system was designed for use at short and long distances with supersonic and subsonic ammunition. The unique thermal properties of the target provide immediate visual feedback, which allows you to easily and quickly evaluate your shooting even with reduced visibility. The special material and solid construction give the targets exceptional durability and long service life even with intensive training loads. Lightweight and compact

Although GOAST targets excel in their durability, they are very light and easy to handle. For example, a 30 cm Circular Target weighs just 0.6 kg and a 45 × 74 cm E-Type torso target weighs just 2.5 kg.

Thanks to their low weight and compact shape, the targets are easy and convenient to transport – even when transporting or carrying several pieces at once, there is no risk of scratches or damage.

Easy handling

Another advantage of these target systems is their easy installation. GOAST targets are designed to be as easy to use as possible, so you can spend as much time and energy as possible shooting. You can hang them, nail them, screw them, or simply lean them against a solid support. No heavy stands or other complex devices are required. The E-Type Mover moving target is compatible with many commonly used moving systems.

Instant feedback

In combination with a target LED indicator and a special spray, you get instant visual feedback when you hit the target, even at very long distances. After hitting, the paint is removed in the given place and a clearly visible round mark with a diameter of 3-5 cm (depending on the caliber and type of ammunition) appears on the target in the background color of the target. This allows you to monitor the results of your shooting in real time and achieve higher accuracy.

Thermal properties

Hits remain visible on the target for 10-15 seconds. The special material reacts to heat and gradually gently heals itself, minimizing the formation of permanent damage and holes. This is called “self-healing ability”. The target is thermally passive, so it does not need any external heat sources.

Different target colors have different properties – yellow targets are suitable for shooting in reduced visibility or from longer distances, black ones are designed for short distances and precise shooting.

Safe and durable

GOAST targets are extremely safe and reliably eliminate bullet reflection and the risk of fire. You can shoot at them even from close range.

The durable material can withstand thousands of shots, extreme conditions and intense water exposure. Even at temperatures around -20 °C, it retains its properties, remains flexible and does not crack. The surface treatment protects the target from UV radiation and does not fade in the sun.

Parallax Combat Training Solutions

The Norwegian company Parallax, which developed the GOAST target system, is far from only concerned with innovations in the field of thermal targets. At first glance, it is clear that years of practice are behind everything. And this practice means almost 40 years of sniper experience directly from professionals. The team consists of veterans and active soldiers who share their knowledge and experience from all over the world.

The Parallax Sniper Academy was founded in 2019 by Alan Jensen, who in previous years had organized the SSUE (Small Sniper Unit Exchange) program for the Norwegian army. Over time, this event began to attract special forces from other NATO countries, and in the last year, teams from 12 different countries participated.

As a result, the Parallax Sniper Academy was established at the request of NATO Special Forces to continue to offer high-quality training and networking within the NATO sniper community, with Norway as the host country.

After several years of running the courses, there was a growing demand for a wider range of training, which the extensive skills of the instructors were able to cover. The success of these courses led to the creation of the current Parallax Combat Training Solutions brand.

Training in arctic conditions

Parallax Combat Training Solutions organizes high-quality sniper and military training for members of the armed forces, as well as long-range shooting courses for civilian shooters. There are generous training facilities available, offering unique opportunities, areas for winter training, and often extremely challenging weather conditions in untouched natural terrain.

Military courses are reserved for NATO units and members of the armed forces of friendly countries. Shooting is carried out at distances of up to 2,000 m and greater distances with an emphasis on maximally realistic training and work in difficult conditions.
